University of South Florida Alumni Offers Soar!
The University of South Florida created opportunities for their Alumni to reconnect with USF Athletics through a variety of special offers for home events.
Rather than limiting the campaign to a single game or sport, USF expanded the offer across seven different sports: football, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, lacrosse, and soccer. In total, the campaign included 11 different games, creating multiple opportunities for alumni to find an event that fit their interests and schedule.
The result was a meaningful lift in ticket sales and fan engagement. USF sold approximately 900 tickets overall through the offer, with the football game alone accounting for 620 tickets sold. The campaign also encouraged deeper participation across the athletics calendar, with 35 buyers purchasing tickets to multiple events.
That football game was the clear standout, but the broader multi-sport approach is what made the campaign especially effective. By opening the offer across a diverse mix of programs, USF was able to make alumni appreciation feel bigger than a single promotional night and build habits for alum to return to campus more often.
For alumni, the campaign created flexibility. For USF Athletics, it created a scalable way to drive attendance, highlight multiple programs, and activate an important audience segment with one coordinated offer.
