Save Time by Building Affiliates from Standard Groups

For a quick and easy way to build a promotion that doesn't require special features or fundraising elements, Spinzo recommends creating an affiliate promotion using a Standard Group. Teams can have multiple Standard Groups based on their most common pricing options or ticket bundles. Once those Standard Groups are in place, creating a new affiliate can take anywhere from a few seconds to just a few minutes.

How to Build An Affiliate from a Standard Group

Step 1: Select the Standard Group that includes the pricing your affiliate group will need.

Step 2: Locate and click on the "Affiliate" icon in the top-right corner. It is three icons over from the "Promotion Links" button.

Step 3: Click on the green "Create New Affiliate" button.

Step 4: Enter the group's name where it says "Affiliate Name."

Step 5 (Optional): If the group will only be attending certain game dates included in the Standard Group, check the box next to "Restrict to specific sales events." Then, click "Select Permitted Sales Events," choose the events the group should have access to, and click "Done."

*Note: If the group will have access to all games included in the Standard Group, skip this step.

Step 6: Select or add the appropriate "Sales Rep" for the affiliate.

Step 7: Add "Support Contact Info" for the affiliate. This is important so customers know who to contact if they have questions or need assistance from a sales rep or the team. This information also appears in the confirmation email that goes to buyers.

Step 8: Click "Save" to create the affiliate.

Once the affiliate has been created, locate its unique URL by clicking the blue arrow.

Other Optional Elements

There are several optional elements that can be added during or after the initial build. Below are a few recommended elements:

Affiliate Logo: This can be the group's or company's logo. The logo can also be hidden from the page if one is not available to add.

Headline Info or More Info: Details that only the group will be able to see on their affiliate link.

Make Affiliates Part of the Standard Setup

Building affiliates from a Standard Group is typically a quick process and can save Spinzo users significant time when creating promotions.

Spinzo recommends creating a few Standard Group "buckets" based on the pricing, ticket options, or bundles your team uses most often. With those Standard Groups already in place, affiliates can be created quickly whenever a new group opportunity comes up.
