Success Connecting With Cultural Groups

US Soccer saw success reaching out to a local non-profit in the New York/New Jersey area for their upcoming September 6th friendly match versus Korea.
The K-NYNJ Host Committee Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in New Jersey, established to represent and mobilize the Korean-American community in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. US Soccer partnered with the group to offer a special price for the upcoming match. The K-NYNJ Committee used it database of local Korean owned business and citizens to market the offer and these were the amazing results:
· 794 Tickets sold
· 198 of the 201 buyers were new to the US Soccer database
· Sold Out in one month
· 4.26 Tickets per order
The concept of tapping into cultural groups that have a tie to a player or team is easily replicated across all of our teams, events and venues. Identifying the opportunity, taking action and following up is key to seeing success like this.
