Nuggets and Nudge - One Successful Week!

That is right, the Denver Nuggets in conjunction with the group Nudge sold over 400 tickets for a Rockets game in December.  

Nudge is a new app that helps you find things to do in your local market. In their words, they are the best way for Gen Z and Millennials to discover local businesses or experiences.  They understand it is way too easy to be lazy now, so Nudge is here to change it. 

Nudge is currently in the following cities: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, DC, Denver, LA, Nashville, NYC, Philadelphia, Portland,  Seattle, San Diego and San Francisco.

In conjunction with the Nuggets, Nudge texted a link to the selected game on Sunday, December 3rd. That day almost 4,500 people viewed the promotion and 295 tickets were sold. By the end of the week these were the results:

These numbers speak for themselves:

  • 5 days of sales
  • 404 tickets sold
  • 6,519 unique viewers on the promotion
  • $32 per ticket average

The group sales business is ever changing. Finding new groups and creative ways to sell is imperative.  We live in a fast paced, last minute world. Your fans' behavior many times will reflect that, so promotions like this one can work and work well when launched appropriately.
