Charlotte FC Fills Almost 18,000 Seats this Season With Students.

The greater Charlotte, North Carolina area has many colleges and universities. As a new franchise two seasons ago, Charlotte FC wanted to capitalize on this population and provide them with last minute ticket deals to attend matches.
For this offering, Charlotte FC wanted to ensure that only students were able to take advantage of the offer and they also wanted it to be a turnkey promotion. With Spinzo, the promotion was gated by the email suffix .edu, only allowing those with that email suffix to purchase. Additionally, Charlotte FC invoked email validation which required buyers to receive an email from Spinzo verifying that their email address was indeed valid.
