Alumni Night Co-Branded Jersey Home Run!
The Sacramento River Cats teamed up with Sacramento State University to create an alumni night offer that gave fans a unique way to show their school pride at the ballpark.
The package included a game ticket and a co-branded Sacramento River Cats x Sacramento State baseball jersey, creating a limited-time offer that resonated with alumni, fans, and the broader university community.
To maximize results, the River Cats leaned into two key Spinzo features:
#1- Milestone Benefit: By tracking the limited number of co-branded jerseys through a benefit, the River Cats created urgency around the offer and gave buyers a clear reason to act early. That urgency paid off, with 91% of tickets sold more than a month before the event.

#2-Abandoned Cart Report: The River Cats also used Spinzo’s new Abandoned Cart Report to help keep sales moving throughout the promotional window. After identifying 27 abandoned cart users, the team sent a targeted “Don’t Wait” email campaign to re-engage interested buyers.
The campaign made an immediate impact, generating the third-highest sales day and the second-highest number of unique viewers per day for the promotion at that point in the sales window.
