12 Spinzo Tips and Tricks to Optimize Your Promotions

12 Spinzo Tips and Tricks to Optimize Your Promotions

Day 1. Affiliates for Rep Attribution:

Assigning each sales rep a unique affiliate link is a Spinzo best practice for tracking sales and ensuring accurate commission credit. Instead of creating a new group link for each employee, simply use one standard group offer link and assign affiliates for each rep. This approach simplifies management for group offers, ticket packs, plans, and more, ensuring transparency and rewarding top performers effectively. It’s a streamlined way to keep your team motivated and your sales organized.

Day 2. Group Best Practices:

The hierarchy of Spinzo provides efficiencies for all of us.  One of those is with Groups! Groups in Spinzo are designed to be used over and over for many seasons even when the branding or sales rep change!  Using the same group provides a couple key benefits:

  • A quick view of historical data
  • The same url for the group year over year
  • Simplicity of use with Spinzo reporting and tools like outbound email

When building a group it is recommended to keep the name free of season years or other dates or event specifics, those are best added at the sales event level.

Day 3. Classifications:

Did you know Spinzo offers the ability to classify and categorize your groups with the Classifications tool? Once classifications are set, you can tag groups and/or affiliates for quick and easy reporting.

Some best practice examples of classifications are:

  • Group Category
  • Group Size
  • Group Type (super group, traditional, promotional)
  • Group Reach
  • Renewal Status

Once classifications are added, they can be pushed into a Ticketmaster sales source for future sales.  All past groups and affiliates can be tagged with categories too and reported on in Spinzo.  Adding this feature will save you endless amounts of time with end of season reporting!

Day 4. Additional Data in Archtics:

Did you know that Spinzo can send more specific information about your sales into Archtics?

Spinzo can send information into the sales source and other information fields at the order level.

Here are some examples of what we can send in:

  • Spinzo order ID
  • Group/Affiliate name
  • Question response
  • Group category

For many clients having this information in Archtics allows for easy transfer of the data to their CRM system for further analysis.

Day 5. Order Look-Up Options:

Here are 3 time saving Order Look Up Options:

1. User Lookup: Search by the buyer's name or email to view all associated orders and details for accessible sellers.

2. Purchase Order ID Lookup: Use the Spinzo purchase order ID from the buyer’s email to access detailed order information, including refund options and the ability to resend confirmation emails.

3. Ticketmaster Account ID Lookup: Search using the buyer’s Ticketmaster account ID to view all linked purchases, with sortable details for easy navigation. These features make order management fast, efficient, and user-friendly.

Day 6. Tracking Pixels!

Does your marketing team want to place tracking pixels on promotion pages so that you can re-target visitors with ads? Does your analytics team want to track all visitors across all Spinzo pages? Our tracking pixel technology can help! Spinzo allows you to paste tracking pixels at the seller, group, sales event, or affiliate level. This allows you to precisely track and retarget whatever you want. Also, you can run visitor pixels or conversion pixels. We expose all important variables for you to use in your tracking: number of tickets, total spend, promotion page, etc… So, if you’ve heard talk of wanting to better track and retarget your buyers on Spinzo, our tracking pixel technology is here for you!

Day 7️. Bulk Actions-Publish/Unpublish!

Did you know that you can quickly publish, un-publish and end sales events with our bulk action tool? Check it out on the sales event page labeled actions. Additionally you can delete sales and events and offers on events. More to come for this bulk action tool in 2025!

Day 8️. Email Validation!

You might already know that Spinzo allows you to gate by email, but did you know you can also require email validation for an extra layer of security? With this feature, our system sends a test email to the buyer, requiring them to validate their email address before they can complete their purchase. This is especially valuable for programs like Student Rush, where buyers might attempt to use old college email addresses. By ensuring email validity, you can maintain the integrity of your promotions and keep offers exclusive to your target audience.

Day 9. Immersive Design Tips!

Spinzo’s immersive design capabilities allow you to create visually engaging and effective ticketing promotions with ease. To maximize the impact, focus on aligning your design with the theme of your event—use custom background images, team logos, or seasonal visuals to grab attention. Highlight key offers with bold, easy-to-read text, and ensure the layout is clean and user-friendly. Leverage color schemes that match your branding or the promotion’s theme to maintain consistency. Lastly, use Spinzo’s dynamic video background feature to add an interactive element that captivates buyers and sets your promotion apart. Immersive design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating an experience that drives engagement and sales.

Day 10. Code Utilization (purchase vs. access vs. redirect)!

Spinzo’s flexible code system offers three powerful ways to enhance your promotions. Use purchase codes to unlock specific discounts at checkout, access codes to gate entry to exclusive offers or pages, and redirect codes to send buyers to a specific promotion link or external site. These options let you customize how codes work for different audiences, ensuring a seamless and tailored ticketing experience.

Day 11. Fundraising Splits!

Need to split a fundraiser 100 ways, no problem! No seriously, Spinzo is happy to pay out your fundraiser however you need to and to as many payees as needed.
